Things I Bought #1

TWS Earbuds

Recently my Sena 10c Pro for my motorcycle helmet stopped working. Well the audio did, the unit still worked but I wasn’t getting any sound. So I thought I would try something different while I was trying to find a way to fix them. Bluetooth earbuds.

After A very long search online I found some on Ebay, from a UK seller. I didn’t want to have to wait up to a month get them from china.

So I bought something called True Wireless earbuds with Power Bank. It came in this box.

Inside the box I found this:

Inside the box: The unit itself, Instructions, USB to Micro USB and some different sized ear pads.

The unit itself is fairly light and pretty self explanatory. The rubber cover in pic 4 reveals where you charge the device and where you can charge another device if needed.

When you lift the lid you find the earbuds and the charger gage. There are many product that have this feature. But this is the only one I could find that was designed with a battery looking animation. Which is the reason I went for this model.

The earbuds themselves are pretty cool. After you use the spare pads to fit your ears properly. When you put them on they automatically start up and start talking, aligning with each other. They can if needed be used a separate earbuds, to join in with a call or if someone needs to borrow one.

Connection to my phone was easy as well. No real problems. And when you are finished with them put them in the portable power bank and they start charging. I have not tested the battery length as I don’t really use them that long. Only to and from work.

Using them is something to get use to as I generally don’t use earbuds but they are quite sensitive. A finger brush pass and they will pause.

The box the earbuds sit in. The lid has moved out of alignment a tad but I was able to move it back into place. This is due to me having them in my jacket pocket at work. So that’s down to me. Working in a warehouse you do get banged up a bit.

Using them on my ride to work is okay. Taking my helmet off sometimes makes them fall out. But I don’t think they were made for this purpose. The connection sometimes disappears from one ear. But when the connection is strong they work fine. Even though they claim to have the latest bluetooth technology.

But I am not going to complain too much, you get what you pay for and with theses earbuds I’m happy with them. Seeing as I only paid just under £11 I am very happy with what they can do. So I do recommend.

If you an audiophile, stay away. You not going to get the sound you are looking for. But if you want something simple that plays music and can take phone calls go ahead. Enjoy.
