So What’s Been Happening Recently? #6
I like to take a week off for my wife and myself, due to our birthdays. Then any left over days I added them around the remaining days of the month. Which normally meant I had most of March off. But I had to get through those first two days.
I was still wearing the man nappies. They were comfortable enough but I still knew they were there.
My manager helped me out with the lightest duty available, marshalling. This was basically picking up cages and driving around the warehouse dropping off where they needing to go. I still couldn’t really pick anything heavy up, so this helped alot. I may have said this already but you never know how much you use the muscles around your bum, until you get injured.
I still wasn’t comfortable enough to ride my motorcycle, so I had to rely on the help from my father in law and the soft cushion. He really is a great bloke.
During the night I had my return to work meeting. I had to stand through the whole meeting as the chairs were really uncomfortable for my anus. During my lunch break, I would have to sit at odd angles on the chairs, to eat.
The two days went by and I was home again resting on my recliner.
March was pretty quiet. I continued to rest. Watch movies and TV shows and read a few books on my Kindle. Also popping out to get more nappies. It took at least another week for me to be comfortable enough to not wear the nappies anymore. But it was SO good to feel the air through my boxers again.
My wife’s birthday was before mine. So she got to be forty a couple of weeks before me. For her birthday I got her some dvds that she had asked for and a Bride of Chucky, talking Tiffany doll.
My fortieth was approaching and I decided that I wanted to have a meal out, for a change. I wanted to invited the family. I couldn’t invite everybody due to conflicts between family members, but you do what you can.
I chose a chinese restaurant that was favourite of mine and the wifes. It’s called Ming Long, located on Aveley high street. They have great food, reasonably priced and have the best curry sauce in the area. In my opinion anyway.
The night of the restaurant was really nice. My sister and her husband turned up. They bought me a giant olde style jar of dolly mixtures. I did ask my mum to come. But she couldn’t. Which was a little upsetting. My brother got the dates wrong and was at work when I called him. My other brother got the opportunity to enjoy his first chinese restaurant. Even though every question was about ramen and had to keep reminding him that ramen is japanese and not chinese.
Everybody pigged out on food. My brother spent most of the time decrypting the menu and wondering what he had ordered. Luckily for him they also serve some english food.
I cut the cake up, making sure there was enough cut for everyone including a piece for the restaurant staff. Then we split the bill between us and then went home.
