On Our Travels Again #4
Day 4
Thursday 10th March. Today we go home. Our friend would be along soon to pick us up and we were pretty much-done packing. So we got ourselves ready and relaxed for a while and waited for our friend to arrive.
Our stay at Grace House was nice. Apart from the problems with the place. It has a nice atmosphere. It felt homely. The price wasn’t too much. The host was always happy to see you. I don’t know how much of that was real. But still, I would consider staying there again. I am a bit concerned about the host though. He was the only person working there that we saw. So, if that is true, He is pretty much a prisoner in his own job. He can’t go anywhere as he has to be there at all hours to answer the door.
Margate. If you need a quick getaway for a few days I would recommend it. Fair enough most of the attractions were closed, due to being out of season. We still enjoyed it. But I would suggest trying someplace else if you are wanting a much bigger experience.
Aside from that, we enjoyed our time in Margate. Even though we still had our own problems at the time of this blog. We needed the time away and this helped a little. But now it was time to get back to those problems and get them fixed and moved on.
Our friend arrived and we loaded the car and headed home. About an hour later we were back. But we couldn’t sit around. I quickly unpacked and we then headed out towards the town centre. We had to visit a few banks to close some accounts. Then we could go home and try to relax before more work the next day. I continued with this blog and the wife was in the other room catching up with her soaps. We later ordered some pizza and continued with what we were doing. Even though I am on holiday from work. We haven’t really stopped. I will explain this in my next blog. But it has been rough.
